Greening Up Initiative (ICT Greening Up Initiative)

The Specific Objectives (SO) are:

SO1: To to improve the access to information and raise the awareness among the ICT SMEs and Startups for their impact on the environment, to build the understanding of potential business advantages of sustainable transformation, and to motivate the companies to innovate and green-up.

SO2: To build capacity in SMEs and Startups to transform to a sustainable, climate neutral, circular and zero-pollution mode, including to improve the knowledge and technological skills of companies to introduce "green innovations" and “good practices” in the field of energy efficiency and "green" energy utilization; e-waste prevention and sustainable circular management at every stage of their business cycle: design, production, distribution and consumption of goods and services.

SO3: To encourage and stimulate the business cooperation, networking, and transfer of innovative green practices and technological know-how between the Bulgarian and Norwegian ICT sector.
